Hey Retail Boss! I’m Nichole and I am so glad that you chose this course to help you succeed in your retail journey.

 I’ve been in the retail industry for over 35 years. I have held almost every position in the retail field. I’ve been a sales associate, an Assistant Manager, a Co-Manager, a Store Manager, and a Sales Lead. I have also been a District and Regional Manager. I have had to run payroll, hire( and fire) people, run day-to-day operations, handle inventory, buy, and set promotions. I have trained hundreds of people on selling, leading a team, and using visual merchandising to increase traffic and grow sales. 

Like many people, I was starting to get tired of giving my all to a company that truly didn’t appreciate me and my talents. I was giving my gifts and my “magic” for a little payout and return, and I got burned out. I wanted to use my talents in a better way that could have a larger impact and give me the life that I truly wanted.

One day, while working for a large Travel Retail company, I decided to join some boutique groups on FB to see how small retail owners were doing and see what the community was up to. I quickly noticed that there were many questions that pertained to how to run their businesses every day and how to grow business and traffic.  I noticed that many passionate new business owners stepped out on faith and followed their dream to start a boutique or retail business, but they really didn’t know or understand the industry that they just joined. Many of these wonderful business owners were asking the same questions. Most of the answers that were being posted were from trial and error experience ( which can be good) but not from industry experience. 

Then it hit me. That’s it! That is what I will do. I will start a consulting company that would give these budding retail owners the answers and direction that they needed to start, grow, or expand their retail business. I will use my 35 years of experience in the retail world to share industry secrets, techniques, and tips that I used to help large brands like Nike, UA, Ann Taylor, and Forever 21 achieve great results and show these independent owners how to use them for their own businesses. So Creative Visual Solutions was born!

 I know how hard it can be to run a retail business. There are a lot of challenges that you face that aren’t faced in any other industry. I also know how rewarding it can be when you make your sales goals, have a launch that surpasses expectations, and have wonderful loyal customers.
